Essential oils

Neroli essential oil

Originally from China, the bitter orange tree has been quickly spread to the Mediterranean basin. Extracted from its flowers, neroli essential oil has been used since the 16th century for its soothing and anti-infectious properties. Its name comes from the Italian princess Anna Maria de Nerola. She used neroli oil to perfume her baths and made it world-famous.
