A strong commitment to the lavender industry and Mediterranean agricultural production
On Monday May 26th, 2025, Elixens France had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Lucien Stanzione, Senator for Vaucluse, to its manufacturing site in Vaison-la-Romaine, in the heart of Provence.
This visit was part of the Senator's strong commitment to the lavender industry, a pillar of the local agricultural heritage and a major stake in the development of sustainable agriculture in rural areas.

Factory tour schedule :
- Visit to the Vaison la Romaine facility,
- Meeting with Elixens France teams,
- Discovery of the agricultural partnership model with SICA Bio Plantes and its manager Claire Chastan,
Discussions with elected representatives, growers and Elixens France customers on current issues in the sector, including analytical pressure, and the technical and economic challenges facing both organic and conventional growers.
Committed player in the structuring of the PPAM sector, Elixens France has been developing aromatic plants for over 20 years, particularly those grown organically, in close partnership with local producers. Organic lavender, the emblem of Provence, today faces major challenges: profitability, technical constraints and increasingly strict regulations.
“This visit is a strong signal of Senator Stanzione's support for committed producers and for sectors of excellence. In a particularly difficult context, he urged us to pursue our efforts in developing cooperative models with our producers and customers, to diversify crops and enhance the environmental and societal benefits of our sectors to make them resilient and sustainable.” Jean Pascal Abdelli, Director of Elixens France.
