Normal operations resumed at our Vaison-la-Romaine spraying facility

On March 18, 2025, a fire broke out on one of the grinding lines at Elixens France’s site in Vaison-la-Romaine. Today, operations have fully resumed, and concrete measures are being implemented to strengthen the safety of our facilities and improve our teams’ responsiveness.

A few days ago, we informed you of a fire that broke out in our plant spraying workshop at the Vaison-la-Romaine site.

The incident resulted in one operator being off work for three days. He is doing well and has since returned to his position.

One of the two lines was able to restart a few days after the fire. The second line was repaired and tested last week. It is now fully operational.

An action plan is currently underway to:

  • Strengthen our control of metallic particles in the products being processed

  • Improve our response time in case of fire outbreaks in this workshop, with enhanced operator training and a review of the equipment

We would like to thank everyone who reached out to us, and all those internally who contributed to the analysis and corrective actions.
