July 18, 2024 - The HSN and YXENS groups announce that they are in exclusive negotiations with a view to the sale of the company HERBISSIMA to YXENS, parent company of ELIXENS France.
The transaction subject to the execution of suspensive clauses should be concluded at the end of September 2024.
By combining their know-how, ELIXENS FRANCE and HERBISSIMA will be able to offer customers herbal teas and extracts from a wide range of high quality plants, traced, while guaranteeing their safety (ISO22000 and IFS).
Very committed to organic, the two companies will be able to further accentuate the development of the offer most suited to the protection of health and the environment.
The customers of the two companies will be able to benefit from the combined skills of the two companies by benefiting from:
• an industrial tool for working with plants, efficient and versatile (grinding, sorting, heat treatment, mixing, flavoring, etc.)
• skills in working with powders (grinding, heat treatment, granulation, etc.)
• direct access to plants of French origin from the Dauphiné Provence sector of Elixens France
• original natural and organic flavoring solutions developed by Elixens France.
The know-how of the two companies is therefore very complementary and the objective of this merger is to improve the products and services offered to customers, by capitalizing on the expertise of the teams in place. The two sites of Eurre and Vaison la Romaine will be preserved. Long-term partnerships with certain suppliers will be extended.

About Herbissima:
Herbissima is a processor of aromatic herbs and tea located in Vaison-la-Romaine in Vaucluse. Its production volume is currently around 1,000 tonnes per year, of which 80% is organic certified and around 15% fair trade labeled. The company controls all transformation processes: heat treatment, cutting, granulation, mixing, etc. Herbissima ships finished products in bulk but it can also deliver products in bags and boxes of tea or infusions, by subcontracting the packaging process.
