The Atlas cedar, native to the Atlas Mountains in North Africa, is threatened by deforestation. Elixens' cedar is acclimatized in France since the 19th century. Elixens works with a sawmill certified by Ecocert which exploits this cedar from stands or parks located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
