From the heart of the Indian Ocean come fragrances to delight your senses: ylang ylang, clove, vanilla, frangipani, neroli, etc.

A renowned specialist in the collection and production of these essential oils on the island of Anjouan in the Comoros, Bambao has been a leading player in this market for a long time.

This company offers a constant supply of products and, driven by its membership of the Elixens Group since 2001, it is resuming the production of concretes such as frangipani, orange flower and ylang-ylang. Other project underway: Resuming clove drying operations.

Finally, Bambao supplies organic products certified by ECOCERT for the European market and by USDA NOP for the United States: Essential oils of basil, neroli, petitgrain, ylang-ylang (extra, I, II and III) and also orange flower water.

Area under cultivation: 27 hectares
Potential production in cultivation contract: champaka (michelia champaka), combava (citrus hystrix), jasmine (jasminum officinale), lantana (lantana camara liné), tubereuse asclepias tuberose

Processing equipment:
• a distillation facility with 9 x 1,000-litre stills.
• an extraction facility for volatile solvents 2 x 400-litre extractors.
